ACIES means Army Dressed in Battle of Array in Latin. This demonstrates the Legion mission to unite with the Blessed Virgin to stand against evil. Legionaries are invited to renew their consecration and honor the Queen of Heaven. Prayers, music and hymns in the sanctuary will be followed by refreshments in Bishop Brzana Hall. Anyone who loves our Blessed Mother is invited to tattend!
Stations of the Cross will be prayed each Friday at 7 pm at Saint Mary's Cathedral during Lent. Mass will be offered on Saturday morning at Notre Dame Church at 8 am during Lent. Please pick up Lenten reading at each of the entryways of the Churches.
The imposition of ashes will be offered at all the Masses on Ash Wednesday on February 22nd: 6:45 am at Notre Dame Church 12:00 noon at Saint Mary's Cathedral 5:00 pm at Notre Dame Church The collection on Ash Wednesday goes to support the Church in Eastern and Central Europe.

In the context of the tragic events unfolding in Ukraine, the Holy Father, Pope Francis will lead an Act of Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord on March 25th at 5:00 pm. The Holy Father invited each bishop, together with his priests, to join with him. Bishop LaValley will pray in union with Pope Francis during the 12:00pm noon Mass at St. Mary’s Cathedral. February 16th marks the official Anniversary of the founding of the Diocese of Ogdensburg! The capstone of our rejoicing will be Vespers on August 9th and an Anniversary Mass on August 10, the Feast of St. Lawrence here at Saint Mary's Cathedral. In the meantime we'll keep you posted about other planned events as they occur. This year also marks the 70th Anniversary of the Cathedral and the 50th Anniversary of Camp Guggenheim.
