October 6 from 7 - 8pm in Deacon Winter Chapel (on the lower level of the Cathedral) there will be a Holy Hour for Vocations. October 1 at 8 am at Notre Dame Church there will be First Saturday Devotions in response to our Lady's request during her apparitions in Fatima.
In the context of the tragic events unfolding in Ukraine, the Holy Father, Pope Francis will lead an Act of Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord on March 25th at 5:00 pm. The Holy Father invited each bishop, together with his priests, to join with him. Bishop LaValley will pray in union with Pope Francis during the 12:00pm noon Mass at St. Mary’s Cathedral. February 16th marks the official Anniversary of the founding of the Diocese of Ogdensburg! The capstone of our rejoicing will be Vespers on August 9th and an Anniversary Mass on August 10, the Feast of St. Lawrence here at Saint Mary's Cathedral. In the meantime we'll keep you posted about other planned events as they occur. This year also marks the 70th Anniversary of the Cathedral and the 50th Anniversary of Camp Guggenheim.
